Blue Bayou is located on canal street. For French quarter -- meaning in a touristy area, not too bad. We had Rockefeller oysters, the Cajun redfish that came w/ a side of jambalaya, a filet of catfish and steamed veggies. Oysters were A-1! So good. These were pretty large too. Honestly if I come back I'd probably order just that. The oysters same with sliced French bread. Redfish was good and so was the jambalaya. Catfish was okay. I liked the flavor, but it was kind of soggy. Not crispy at all. The steamed veggies were only green beans. Not mixed veggies. They were good though. Service was great. I loved our waitress, Kendal. Give her a raise! The ambiance was cool too. There's a huge tree in the center of the restaurant. I like how it was incorporated. There was also a drummer when we were there. Overall, I'd go back for those oysters!

Chefs kiss. This placed is always packed and full of life. Right on Canal Street. I sat at the bar since I was by myself. Started myself off with a nice drink. The bartender so was nice and funny. I loved her accent! I watched as they grilled the oysters...and the food smell filled the air. I tried a few different things. They were all very tasty. I'm not sure what happened to my photos and videos I had but somehow I was able to salvage a photo. Definitely I great food spot to visit. The best oysters I had out there.

came in on a random Wednesday night while visiting from out of town. Ordered the "Blue Bayou Famous Chargilled Oyster." My man Dwight, the man on the oyster grill, chargrilled those oysters with a whole lotta nawlins love. my man needs a raise, I have never had oysters this good & i've traveled the world trying to find the best of the best. the server Devin has all the jokes! 10/10 & the two bartenders, Jason & Danika, can make a fantastic Mardi Gras Margarita!
